SAM HAZEN
In September 2010, veteran chef Sam Hazen partnered with LDV Hospitality to reinvent the acclaimed Veritas in Flatiron, where his contemporary American-style cuisine earned him a coveted three-star review from The New York Times and a prestigious Michelin star in 2012.
Both a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) graduate and later on professor, he has worked and managed some of the most iconic and successful restaurants in the world including, La Cote Basque, Marchesi, and Le Gavroche. Most notably he was the executive chef of Tao for nine years, overseeing the number one and two highest grossing restaurants in the United States.
