LDV Hospitality is the realization of an ambition to bring the dream of La Dolce Vita to life. The charming concept of ‘the good life’ can mean something different to everyone, however it represents quality, value, and satisfaction to all.
To bring La Dolce Vita, the good life, to our customers by turning their everyday needs into charmed experiences, while creating and maintaining hospitality brands of value for our employees and partners.
LDV Hospitality is a platform to create services, experiences, and products to bring our customers the good life. LDV Hospitality is composed of two divisions that work together to achieve our mission: LDV Brands and LDV Management. The thread that binds them is our commitment to our five tenants:

LDV Hospitality evolved from the beginning of the career of Lenny Chu in New York City in 1989. As a Korean immigrant inspired by the American Dream, Mr. Chu viewed hospitality as an opportunity to bring charm to the everyday need of a convenient bite to eat. With his brother Brian, he created Lenny’s, a gourmet sandwich shop located on the Upper West Side. Rather than reinventing the way in which his neighbors eat, he simply decided to enhance it offering better quality of product and service for a valuable price. Mr. Chu proved himself as an operator and from this humble beginning he sought to inspire like-minded entrepreneurs to realize the dream of La Dolce Vita. He partnered with successful restaurateurs Curt Huegel and Johnny Heil, and began to create a variety of hospitality brands, the center of which was Lenny’s. With Lenny’s operational and financial strength they were able to aggressively develop new concepts while attracting new talent and formed the umbrella LDV Hospitality. Today LDV Hospitality owns and operates 20 retail outlets with plans to open an additional 10 outlets in the next two years, 50 franchise operations, and distribution of its products in over 500 retail outlets throughout the East Coast.
